Kings Canyon....Camping

This was Emma's second camping trip. We traveled through a cave, hiked around, celebrated Philip's birthday, saw waterfalls, swam in the river and just had a great weekend. Strangely enough.....Emma sleeps better than anyone else while camping! Oh and she loves smores! The first time for those!

Emma's Swim Lessons

Emma is a fish........or a dolphin, shark or mermaid. Just depends on when you ask and what she feels like. She's been doing swim lessons at the YMCA. She's really quite good. She didn't like any of the other kids at first and was so serious (see photo on the left where she keeps her distance). But, she's lightened up and is having a blast! She loves to swim with anyone. Even her Uncle Mike (aka Geeky) has braved the waters with her!

I thought I should start with this "old" trend of blogging to keep everyone updated. I'm new with this, so please be patient! ;-)

Emma is 3 1/2 now and getting bigger and smarter. She knows what she wants out of life and I'm already a bit jealous.....and a bit nervous! This first photo is one taken in Sausalito last fall/winter. One of the beautiful days without fog near S.F.
